Responsibilities of Fruit Farmers
- You’d be required to irrigate soil, and plant using different equipment such as a portable-pipe or ditch system
- Pick and store fruits during harvest.
- Drive truck or tractor to transport equipment, materials, supplies, workers, and products.
- You will be required to drive and operate many farming equipment and machines on the farm.
- Mix chemical ingredients and spray them on the plants, trees, vines, and grounds in the farm with solutions to remedy insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases.
- Help the fruits grow better and produce quality which means you have to thin blossoms, runners, and immature fruit.
