President Muhammadu Buhari has again reiterated that he won’t be seeking another term in office after the expiration of his second term, which is the maximum term in the Nigerian constitution.
Speaking at a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, on the margins of the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Kigali, Rwanda, Buhari was asked if he will seek another term in obvious.
Responding to this, he said;
“Another term for me? No! The first person who tried it didn’t end very well.”
