It has been revealed that Gisele Bündchen reportedly bought an $11.5 million mansion directly across the waterway from Tom Brady’s home weeks before the couple finalized their divorce.
The Brazilian fashion model bought the five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot Miami Beach mansion on October 6, Page Six reported.
The stunning five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot home appears to be almost directly across the waterway from her now ex-husband Brady’s home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.
Bündchen first viewed the mansion on August 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The break was a last attempt to save the relationship, it was reported.
‘Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on,’ the source revealed.
‘You could literally swim from Gisele’s place to Tom’s — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,’ the source added.
The property listing boasts soaring 25-foot ceilings, a large outdoor pool, a home theater, gym, several terraces, and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island.
The two had aimed to build a forever home in Miami’s Indian Creek Country Club community for themselves and their children.
The total cost of the house is set to be near $30 million, as they paid $17 million for the land and an additional $10.12 million in construction costs for the custom mansion, according to the Post.
Brady and Bündchen have two children together – a son Benjamin, 12, and a daughter, Vivian, 9. The former couple will share joint custody of their kids following their Oct. 28 divorce.
Brady also has a 15-year-old son, Jack Moynahan, from a previous relationship with actor Bridget Moynahan.
